HISTORY
The history of Yana Ltd. – factory Panagyurishte dates back to the early 20th century, when launch production of towels and cloth in the town of Panagyurishte, Bulgaria. Its founder was Krastyo Simeonov Boyadzhiev (1882 - 1935), who during the First World War was mobilized in the Main Quartermaster's Office and for the needs of the army began to produce towels with the help of wooden hand looms. In March 1923 he founded the company "First Bulgarian Towel Factory - Limited Partnership", which became a solid foundation for this type of production. A few years later, the company was renamed the Oborishte towel factory and now has the first mechanical looms of its kind.
On December 8, 1949, the Deikovi brothers discovered the Panagyurishte golden treasure, which had been exhibit for two days in the factory located at the city center at that time. Later, the factory was moved to a street in the town of Panagyurishte, bearing their name.
Over the years, the need for towels both in the country and abroad has increased, which necessitated an increase in production, leading to the purchase of additional looms, both mechanical and automated. A new dyeing workshop has also been established. In 1998 the factory became part of the factories of "Yana" LTD, which marks the beginning of a new stage in the development of production. In a few years, the energy infrastructure has been completely renewed and the steam industry switched to ecological biofuels. In our days, Yana Ltd. factories have the most modern machinery park, which contributes to the production of sustainable products with a beautiful and modern design, fully compliant with the needs of our customers.
